Clinic Care Teams of participating clinics will participate in two trainings and three simulations during their clinic cohort’s Implementation Phase. The number of Clinic Care Teams per clinic is equal to the number of prenatal care providers (physician, nurse, midwife, nurse practitioner). During simulations, the Clinic Care Team will demonstrate (as a group with a standardized patient) how they would assess and respond to an episode of severe hypertension. Clinic Care Teams include:
- Every provider who works a minimum of 16 hours per week at the participating clinic
- Each provider’s assigned nurse
- Each provider’s assigned Medical Support Personnel
