Medical Support Personnel (MSP)

Staff member (Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Nurse etc.) who has been trained to measure blood pressures during prenatal or postpartum care. All Medical Support Personnel (MSP) at each participating clinic will demonstrate their technique for measuring blood pressure for pregnant patients.  To minimize interference with usual care and eliminate the need for patient consent, ACHIEVE will provide a standardized patient for the MSP to demonstrate blood pressure measurement.  The observations will be scheduled at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months (at the start of active implementation), and up to every six months through the sustainment phase.
